Who We Are
Vision
The purpose of Victory Breakthrough Ministries is to become an Apostolic network of churches that exists to preach the gospel
to the lost, heal the brokenhearted, heal the sick, deliver those who are bound, and make disciples of God’s people so that they can
reach the world for Jesus Christ.
Mission
The mission of Victory Breakthrough Ministries is to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father,
Son and Holy Spirit and teach them to observe everything that Jesus commands us.
We will accomplish this mission by making prayer a priority, by worshipping our King passionately, by preaching the gospel,
by planting online and in-person micro-churches that multiply and by demonstrating
the love of Jesus to each other and to our neighbors.
Motto
Breaking through, taking dominion and living in victory!
13 The one who breaks open will come up before them; They will break out, Pass through the gate,
And go out by it; Their king will pass before them, With the Lord at their head (Micah 2:13 NKJV).”
What We Believe:
God
We believe that there is one God, who exists eternally as a Trinity of three persons:
Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each member of the Trinity is fully God,
yet each is personally distinct from one another.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of the Living God. It is infallible from Genesis
to Revelation and is transformative
for our lives. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (II Timothy 3:16, NKJV).
Deity of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is the second person of the Trinity and is fully God.
Jesus was crucified for our sin and rose from the dead on the third day. He is the savior of the world.
He ascended to the heavens and now sits at the right hand of the Father (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:30-35).
Salvation
In John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Salvation is attained only through faith in Jesus Christ. When we put our faith in Jesus Christ, we are restored
to right fellowship with God.
Sanctification
We believe that sanctification is both a crisis experience and progressive for the believer.
When we put our trust in Christ, we are positionally sanctified or set apart unto God. However, sanctification
is also a process in which we are being sanctifieddaily in the soul and in the body
(1 Thessalonians 5:23; Romans 6:1-14; Hebrews 12:14; Romans 6:19-22).
Baptism/Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe first in the baptism into the body of Christ by which a person accepts the Lord Jesus as their personal savior
and is initiated to be a part of His body (1 Corinthians 12:13). We also believe in believers baptism by which a person
who receives Christ identifies with the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ by being baptized in water (Romans 6:4).
Lastly, we believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial manifestation of speaking in tongues,
and that through this baptism, we receive power to be witnesses of Jesus to the whole world (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4 and Mark16:17).
A person who has been truly baptized in the Holy Spirit should also lead a life that demonstrates the fruit of the Spirit
as listed in Galatians 5:22-23.
Healing, Deliverance and Miracles
We believe in demonstrating the power of the kingdom by healing the sick, casting out demons and the working of signs,
wonders and miracles (Acts 4:29-30).
Biblical Unity & Diversity
We believe that true unity must be centered in the Word of God. We take seriously the following prayer of the Lord Jesus
in John’s gospel: “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;
21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may
be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me (John 17:20–21 NKJV).
We also believe that our oneness in Christ enables us to enjoy the beauty of diversity as we relate to one another
as a multicultural, multigenerational, and multi-gifted fellowship of believers who acknowledge their
distinctiveness but walk in the unity of the Spirit. (See Ephesians 4:1-3; Revelation 7:9-10; Galatians 3:28).
